Welcome aboard, cryptolawyer. Since many of us find law rather cryptic, it may be that you can enlighten the non-legal amongst us. In the meantime, you might want to look into the Wikiproject:Cryptography, and the various tools to assist editors in the crypto corner. You might even want to actually sign up as a member (see the Project page).

And, of course, there are various conventions and policies which apply to the work of Wikipedia editors. You can get a reasonable sense for them by following some of the community and meta links to the left on most screens.
