[edit] Notable enough?
Is there any particular reason why this company is significant, other than one of our users happens to work there? If not, this page should be deleted. Wikipedia is not a company listing. --Robert Merkel
- It's a real, reasonably large company where useful information can be added. I see no reason not to have it here. --Eloquence 00:36 Jan 20, 2003 (UTC)

- Eloquence never seems to have a problem with including anything and everything here. Just what would you think shouldn't be here? -- Zoe

- Well, the company was founded by Ivan Damgård which is one of the guys behind hashes as we know them today. See Merkle-Damgård construction etc. However see my warning in the next section. --David Göthberg 15:17, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Warning, company edited article
This article has been heavily edited and extended by what seems to be employees of this company. This goes against Wikipedia policy. But this company might be notable enough since it was founded by Ivan Damgård. So for now instead of requesting it deleted I will just edit away the parts that could be considered "sales speach". (Which is pretty much all of it.) --David Göthberg 15:17, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vincent Rijmen
Vincent Rijmen is the co-author of the Rijndael encryption algorithm that became the Advanced Encryption Standard. The Vincent Rijmen page says he works for Cryptomathic, but perhaps that has to be verified. Raffen (talk) 07:26, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
