Crystal Cave (Wisconsin)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Crystal Cave is a cave in the northeastern part of western Wisconsin's Pierce County, approximately 1 mile southwest from Spring Valley. Discovered by accident in 1881, the cave was formed by underground erosion of the Prairie du Chien dolomite.[1]
During the school year, the cave is a popular destination for school field trips.
