Crystal Burns is a fictional character on the CBS television series The Unit. She is portrayed by American actress Summer Glau. Crystal's boyfriend is Jeremy Erhart. When Jeremy is injured on the job, Crystal is unable to cope. This leads to a one night stand with Mack Gerhardt, after they met up a local bar. Mack calls the affair off, but Crystal continued to seek after Mack while grieving her boyfriend. However, this romance eventually caused problems with the team, when Crystal aids a reporter as a way of getting back at Mack. Mack eventually confronts her, whereby Crystal expresses that what she really wants is to go back to her home in Michigan. Mack gives her a wad of cash, and no one has seen her since.
