Cryptodome

A cryptodome is a dome-shaped structure created by accumulation of viscous magma at a shallow depth. One example of a cryptodome is in the case of the volcano Mt. St Helen's where a blocked vent caused the magma to divert its path to the side thus creating a cryptodome.
