Cryptoconchoidsyphonostomata

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cryptoconchoidsyphonostomata, or While it's to be Had! was a one-act farce styled a "successful romantic extravaganza", written and composed by Charles Collette, who also starred in the leading role of Plantagenet Smith. It is chiefly remembered today as the curtain-raiser at the Royalty Theatre on the night of March 25, 1875, the night of the premiere of Trial by Jury. The piece was replaced by another work for the remainder of the run of Trial. It resurfaced at the Olympic Theatre on July 10, 1875, starring Collette.

At least one song from the play was published separately.
