Cryptic Collection is a compilation album of Twiztid songs. It is the first of 3 albums in the "Cryptic Collection series" followed by Cryptic Collection Vol. 2 and Cryptic Collection Vol. 3. It was recorded in 2000 and the album length is 49:07. It can be said the "Cryptic Collection series" is Twiztid's version of ICP's Forgotten Freshness.

  • "Intro 2" was actually the original intro to Mostasteless but was scrapped.
  • "Meat Cleaver" was featured on Mostasteless and Psychopathics from Outer Space.
  • "I Could", "Bad Dream", "Ain't a Damn Thang Changed", "Something Weird", and "Blam!" were originally recorded for a scrapped Mr. Bones' solo album called "Something Weird".
  • Dr. Jekyl & Mr. Bones" can be found on Mr. Bones' "Sacrifice" and "The Demon Inside" solo albums.
  • "Put it Down"was originally found on Blaze Ya Dead Homie EP. If you wait a bit longer, a hidden HOK track called "Scare" appears.
