[edit] Trivia
- This episode marks the first modern-day appearance of Uncle Pecos, who first appeared in 1953's "Pecos Pest". This short reuses the whisker-plucking gag from the earlier cartoon, as well as a variation involving a yanked toenail.
- Tom and Jerry are friendly to each other throughout most of the short. The two even share a bed in this short.
- The song that Uncle Pecos sings in the short is Polly Wolly Doodle. He also sang Froggy Went a Courtin' in the 1953 Tom and Jerry short.
