[edit] List of characters in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

Could you have a look at my comments at Peer review: List of characters in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and see if you can make any comments yourself. I think some contributors are editing in a bubble which needs to be popped. --Gavin Collins 12:21, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Reviews on the Run

The individual page was never created. I think you missed a step. ;) Enigma (talk) 22:43, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

  • Once again, Twinkle fell down on the job. On it now, thanks. Cruftbane 22:44, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
  • No problem. I've been watching the page today and that one caught my eye. Enigma (talk) 22:44, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Can we create some articles that will get past the apparent consensus of admins that the most notable yard robot is less notable than the millionth episode of Seinfeld? Sure, with some effort. Should we? No, technologists don't have to hear this twice to know that we're not welcome here. Community should be developed elsewhere. - Dan Dank55 (talk) 00:11, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

  • It's not admins you need to worry about. Admins only click the button. The key, always, is non-trivial coverage in reliable independent sources. Sources plural. Stories in Sci-Am, robotics journals, major newspapers, coverage on TV technology shows. Cruftbane 07:53, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Well, I just got a nice email from one of the admins, so I'm not so grouchy. We still have the problem that I'm passionate, I'm trying to accomplish a purpose, and I can't do it here, there are no co-workers. I will continue to write articles, but my focus will be elsewhere. - Dan Dank55 (talk) 16:16, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Okay, now everyone is being nice to me, and I'm definitely not grouchy. Found a solution to the "passion" problem: I'm going to start a blog, keep my passion there, and try to write factual and boring articles here. Jameson and I are talking about division of labor...I may focus more on home automation and privacy (pro and con) and let him do the biographies of famous roboticists, you might want to give him this good advice you're giving me. - Dan Dank55 (talk) 18:50, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
That's a great idea, or you could start a robots Wikia, that's probably good too. Cruftbane 18:51, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Already did that actually, it's all part of the grand scheme...mwahaha - Dan Dank55 (talk) 19:12, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Also, now that I'm perky, I'll be happy to try that biography, and if you have more material on that or anything else send it to me. After I write it up, I'll have to check with someone before I post it, I don't want to leave a trail of deleted pages. - Dan Dank55 (talk) 19:36, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Phil Konstantin

Philkon (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log) uploads photographs, adds them to articles with a namecheck. We also have a lot of links to Special:Linksearch/americanindian.net/kusi, which is Phil Konstantin's website on KUSI, mostly added by 24.165.8.41 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log), which is almost certainly the same individual since the edits are al to add these links or to Konstantin's image captions, see these three sequential diffs: [189], [190], [191]. And Philkon also edits KUSI (edit|talk|history|links|watch|logs) This does not look good. Cruftbane 19:54, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

   * I just removed links and name checks from over 60 articles, I hope I did right. Cruftbane 20:42, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] ===

I have added lots of photos of people listed in Wikipedia. To make sure no one thought I was using copyrighted material, I used to add links to the website where I had posted the original photos. You decided to delete those links. So I no longer do that.

Now someone deleted one of my original photos because they thought I really didn't take it....

Oh well...
