[deleted: erotic fiction presented as fact]

Whether or not its true, its a good story! Can anyone provide sources, or will these offending paragraphs be condemned to deletion for ever? --Dumbo1 00:57, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
Erotic fiction has no place in an encyclopedy, except as a topic to be discussed (like if you want to start an "erotic fiction as a form of vandalism in Wikipedia" article). No, there are no sources, the facts are stated so as to sound convincing, but you soon realize it's a patchwork of (vague) historical facts and pure fabrication. And no, it isn't "condemned", I have preserved it here because I, too, think it has some merit. Maybe I should add it to Wikipedia:Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense -- KJK::Hyperion 15:35, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
There, I just did. Enjoy --KJK::Hyperion 15:45, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Taliban

It's my understanding that the Afghani Taliban had crushing as a means of execution specifically for homosexuality. Can someone confirm? Htra0497 14:20, 29 January 2006 (AEST)

[edit] Pleading not guilty

I removed this: "Pleading innocent was also not an option, since the torture would merely be redoubled until they pled guilty." This does not appear to be correct (see external link). If anyone can provide a source for this then go ahead and restore it. Richard75 22:45, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I'll have to press you...

Does anyone know if this is the origin of the phrase "I'll have to press you for an answer"? Sbbrooks 12:02, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

don't know, interesting thought though, will try to find out Fr33kMan 05:55, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] bloody history?

I removed the part in the opening sentence which says that crushing has a long, "bloody" history. .......Not the purpose of wikipedia. Tingalex 18:19, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
