  • This article desperately needs sorting. It's being repeatedly vandalised, is subjected to differing POVs and does not have a single source, or correct system of references, and is therefore a poor example of what a Wikipedia article should look like. Escaper7 16:02, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

I've gone through and worked on the article a little bit. The biggest problem I saw, outside of reference or WP:NPOV issues, was loads of broken and malformed links. I've gone ahead and clean up the whole section on notable artists and connected it up to all correct pages. The article reads pretty well.
I'm going to remove the cleanup tag from the article page but leave the notice on the talk page. It would be very good if someone who understands the subject more could ensure that the references and such are correct. --mako (talk•contribs) 03:21, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

what with such lines as

Crunk music uses simple lyrics voiced over by a bunch of artists along with heavy bass to create a fanatical feeling of intense euphoria.

and

As with many intense music genres, Crunk expresses angry and excited language that has been put into an art form for the dance enthusiast.

If you ask me, yeah. I threw all my crank hip hop albums in the bin. And no regret - it's the one of the few popular music styles (along with snap music) that are popular since five or six years - it's time they go away. 213.240.234.212 19:18, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] crunk is the state of bieng fired up and readdy to do anything. when people get there blood pumping intentionaly just because u like the rush
