If you read about MS Color Fantasy for example I believe it is fair to use the word Cruiseferry as a term. The industry has been using this term for years.

Why in the world would one need sources for the first statement!?!? You could take the webpage of any company who operates cruise ferries and see for yourself that some journeys are direct crossings from one port to the other, whereas in other cases the ship will stay at sea for a longer time. Yet if one really believes sources are needed for that very obvious statement, www.tallink.ee would suit for instance.
