[edit] "Bastardization"
The opening of this article identifies it as a "bastardization" of billiards. This was recently changed to "variant" which was reverted by BQZip01 with the edit summary indicating that it is "not a variant" and citing WP:NOTCENSORED. However I do not believe that edit had anything to do with censorship. Bastardization implies that it has been corrupted or otherwise *made worse* which is a value judgment. Variant on the other hand, is accurate and impartial. Rather than revert again I have rephrased to use neither terminology. 216.36.186.2 (talk) 20:40, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- Good compromise. I'll buy it. I think anyone who plays crud would agree though that Crud is indeed a corrupted form of billiards and has definitely been made "worse" that the gentlemanly game of billiards. I guess I misunderstood your argument in your summary. No hard feelings, right? :-) — BQZip01 — talk 03:42, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
