Crüe Fest is a Mötley Crüe tour, commencing on July 1, 2008, that consists of Mötley Crüe, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Trapt, and Sixx:A.M.. During the press conference announcing the tour, Nikki Sixx said that there are currently no definitive plans to tour Europe, however, it is likely that there will be some form of tour. [1] The Tour is named as "The Loudest Tour On Earth"[2]

The tour was first formulated in January 2008, by Sixx. Shortly afterwards, the idea was formed to do a tour with both of the bands that was a member of. The idea of Cruefest was created, with Mötley Crüe's intention of bringing a new touring festival of 'bands that embody the spirit of rock and roll'[3] in the same vein as Ozzfest. The official 'new look' Mötley Crüe website ([1]), had promised a special announcement and on April 15, 2008, Mötley Crüe hosted a press conference, where the intentions of the Cruefest tour were announced and the band premiered their 'Saints of Los Angeles' video, as well as performing 'Kickstart My Heart' and 'S.O.L.A.'.
