[edit] Notability
This software is plenty 'notable'...
As per the Wiki guidelines for software notability:
The software package has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the company itself.
- This criterion includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, books, user guides, television documentaries, and full-length magazine reviews 2 except for the following:
- Media reprints of press releases, other publications where the author or manufacturer talks about the software, and advertising for the software. Newspaper stories that do not credit a reporter or a news service and simply present company news in an uncritical or positive way may be treated as press releases unless there is evidence to the contrary. 1
- Trivial coverage, such as newspaper articles that simply report version releases without comment, price listings in product catalogues, or listings on software download sites.
Crome has been featured in plenty of Honda and Import tuning magazines, its listed on numerous websites, articles on how to use it, ect, and is a HUGE name in the Honda ECU world... There is a huge following for it... It may sound like some 'un-notable' app to those who are unfamiliar with Honda ECU tuning, but I insist it is not! Exempt 07:26, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

You'll have to excuse me, Im still new to editing Wiki... Though I read it quite a bit... There was a featured article in the June 2005 issue of Honda Tuning Magazine about editing your ECU with Crome and a program called Uberdata (which was big before Crome came along)... I dont have the exact issues/dates for the other articles it was featured in as I dont have those in my lap currently (I had this one on hand to help me create the articles)... But websites, there are plenty... A simple google search for "Crome tuning" will show that what Im saying is true that there are plenty of people who tune with Crome including professional tuner shops... The bottom line here is that saying Crome and/or Uber is 'non-notable' software is like someone who dosnt use the internet telling me Wikipedia is an unreliable source of data... The only reason they'd say such a thing is because they dont know enough about it...

- Alright, try to track them down so they may be cited as sources. —ptk✰fgs 07:34, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
