[edit] Seventh largest ethnic group in Australia

I think there's a mistake on this page, because the "Greek Australian" article says that Greek is the 7th largest ethnic group in Australia. KingIvan 08:24, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

I've noticed that also. I think someone needs to get a hold of some of the latest census data and update all of Wikipedias Australian demographic pages. 210.9.136.252 08:41, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Problems with the page according to Stej

0.6% of australia identified themselevs as croats. on this page it says 118,000 (aprox) said they were croats. in the panel it says that 118 000 (approx) have croat ancestry and that 50,000 (approx) were born there. so it shoiuld say what number of people where born here. I dont have a calculator so I can't do it.

Who decided to put those 4 with croat ancestry in the panel out of all the people who could be put in? it is bias, and wikipedia, as thinly disguised towards bias as it is, claims it is against bias. those 4 prominent croat aussies have been singled out for even greater recognition because someone feels they deserve a bigger mention than all the other names.

And for the notable soccer and aussie rules football players there needs to be a standard, a standard if you will. you cant have bresciano football (association) and then didak australian rules football. it should say bresciano football (association), didak football (australian rules) or bresciano soocer, didak aussie rules.

and im sure someone will dispute this and say i manke no sense. to those, simply read carefully, or even learn to read english —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.159.2.32 (talk) 02:26, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Doesn't make sense

"The Croatia-born are more likely than the general Australian population to live in Victoria (36.6 per cent compared to 24.7 per cent) and New South Wales (35.5 per cent to 33.3 per cent)"

what do the percentages represent? Kransky 00:10, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

36.6 per cent of all Croatia-born live in Victoria, compared to 24.7 per cent of the total Australian population who live in Victoria. Make sense now? 193.61.177.92 17:21, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
