Talk:CROTRAM
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It would be very nice not to change parts of text so quickly, withot any knowledge on subject!
For instance, Duro Dakovic ( cro. Đuro Đaković) is real part of "Crotram" consortium, since it has very long tradition in building and production of trams.
But, also it was first factory at south-east Europe (including Slovenia and Greece) with capability of production trams, trains, wagons, tractors, process equipment, tanks, heavy machinery, nuclear reactors, sophisticated bridges etc.
Today, aldough it was plagued by war and transition, it is recovered and produce large scale of sophisticated products that are exported in EU countries.
For instance, it is one of only few firms in the whole world capable to build high-tech, and the most complex steal bridges. Also Duro Daković is producing the most sophisticated military machinery and vehicles, car parts, producing wagons and special vehicles (eg. robotic mine-finder), building and reconstructing factories, producing agricultural vehicles, producing hot boilers and equipment for thermo plants etc...
Duro Dakovic (Đuro Đaković) is also very known and recognized in many EU countries for it's high quality ISO,ASTM,SGS and other standards, and very high skilled personell, which it's long tradition, since there is Faculty of Mechanical engineering in Slavonski Brod- home town of firm.
Some international partners of firm: Siemens, Krupp, Babcock, Voith, Sulzer, Fiat, Škoda, ...
Đuro Đaković from Slavonski Brod.
Firm Duro Dakovic is not part of "Crotram" consortium. At the start they were supposed to build the boogies, but from some reason they could not do their part of the job, so they left the consortium. The production of boogies was given to german firm Sames.
Đuro Đaković is still in that consortium, only that it'll start with it's part of production as soon as posible...
[edit] New Technologies
" it has bottom axles, which is applied for the first time in the world" I don't know that it really is a first. Doesn't the 100% low floor version of the Citadis also have them?Myrtone (the strict Australian wikipedian)
Bogie development and production was given to german company SAMES, not Henschel —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.148.217.236 (talk) 07:28, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
HEY! Are you illiterate? I gave a clear reference, a link where you can find a lot of info about bogie mechanics on Henschel pages, and you say that's not true? And WHY are big Henschel logos on bogies than if they don't have anything to do with it? Give some proof if you want to dispute the facts, and you CAN'T to that by deleting other people's valid references!!!!!!!!!! Sames does its work, but also does Henschel, add substantial info if you can, but don't delete indisputable links. (By the way, SAMES official pages also metion Henschel's part in the project!)
[edit] Wikipedia is not for commercials
This text with a lot of superfluous comments to praise the product is an advertisement for this tram disguised as an encyclopedial article. An article about this tram is ok, but it should be entirely rewritten. Otto ter Haar 13:33, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
I agree, this text is ridiculous... I hope someone will change it soon.
