Hollyoaks: Crossing The Line was a late night spin-off from the long-running Channel 4 British television soap opera Hollyoaks.

[edit] Summary

Sam Owen’s new best friend Andy Holt had made a quite an impression on him as he is popular and charming, everything that Sam wasn’t. After some small trouble where Sam got himself in the deep with a few thugs, Andy came to his rescue and provided much needed help. As Sam felt he owed his friend one, he agreed to take part in one of Andy’s bizarre This Way Up campaigns, where he climbs high top buildings, in a highly illegal and dangerous stunt. The pair went along with this off the wall idea, just for a ‘buzz’ feeling and an element of risk.

As a nervous Sam got stuck while climbing down off the building, a much calmer Andy manages to help him out, as the pair escaped just in time from the security. The friendship and loyalty grew for one another, as they felt they can "take on the world" and their friendship was "untouchable". But, despite Sam growing fond of Andy, there was still something suspicious and dark about Andy as he was seemingly too good to be true.

The following day Lee Hunter held his presidential party, where both Sam and Andy attended as the pair were feeling the highs from last night’s triumph adventure. Andy asked out fellow student Dannii Carbone at the party but she turned him down, as she was seeing Sam's brother Russ. Andy’s true colours soon emerged and Andy spiked Dannii’s drink with a GHB drug and then later on went on to rape her, wearing a condom (apparently because he 'cares') as he attacks her unconscious body.

Meanwhile Chris Fenwick tricks Lee into receiving a blow job with a transvestite called Aphrodite. Elsewhere Ben Davies and Lisa Hunter make friends with siblings Ally and Alex, who introduce them into their world.
