Crowley Independent School District

Crowley Independent School District is a public school district based in Crowley, Texas (USA). The Superintendent of Schools is Greg Gibson.

In addition to Crowley, the district also serves portions of Fort Worth and Edgecliff Village in south central Tarrant County. A small portion of northern Johnson County also lies within the district.

Crowley High School's [1] colors are purple and white. The mascot is the eagle. The Crowley Eagle Softball team was 4A State Champions in 2003 and 2004.

The school is located in Fort Worth.

North Crowley High School opened in 1998. The school colors are blue and silver (and black, unofficially). The mascot is the panther. The North Crowley varsity football team was the Division I - 4A state champions in 2003. Other North Crowley sports teams have also been successful. The team currently participates in UIL Division IV - 5A and in 2007-2008, the Varsity Panther Boys Basketball team were 5A State Champions.


North Crowley is also well known for their fine arts programs. The North Crowley High School band, known as the Mighty Panther Band, currently directed by Andrew Williams, has won several awards over the years. The 2008-2009 MPB Drum Majors are Cameron Gunter, Chris Raley, and Ariel Reynolds. The North Crowley High School choir, has also won numerous awards, under the direction of Robyn Hollimon. In 2004 they won state honor choir of the year and Robyn Hollimon received state choir director of the year. They are recently one of the leading high schools in the TMEA competition every year. However, only two of their choirs obtained what choir directors call a "clean sweepstakes" which means they got a perfect score from all three judges at UIL this year. The North Crowley Chamber Women's choir recently performed in Miami, Florida for the 2007 ACDA national convention.In 2008 North Crowley won the Texas 5A state Basketball championship game with lead scorer Willie Warren who is headed to Oklahoma. which put them as the #3 best high school basketball team in the nation.

The Basketball Program has had many notable players play under coach Tommy Brakel.

H.F. Stevens' colors are purple and white. The mascot is the eagle. Students from H.F. Stevens go to Crowley High School (Crowley Ninth Grade Campus).

Crowley Middle School's mascot is the panther. The school is located in Fort Worth. Students attending this school go to North Crowley High School (North Crowley Ninth Grade Campus). This school has also gone undefeated in Football, Boys basketball, and the track team won quad-county. The 7th Grade Beginning Girls' Choir got Sweepstakes (1s best score possible) at UIL on April 10, 2008.

Summer Creek Middle School is currently under construction and will open this August 2008. The schools mascot is the "colt".
