Crowbar was recorded in New Orleans in 1992 by Crowbar. The album went on to sell an impressive 100,000 copies on the independent label Pavement Records (now defunct). The singles "All I Had (I Gave)" and "Existence Is Punishment" propelled the band on MTV and achieved international attention. The album was produced by childhood friend of Crowbar founder Kirk Windstein and the singer for Pantera, Phil Anselmo.
