[edit] Distribution
This species is endemic to the Three Kings Islands, north of the North Island of New Zealand.
[edit] Habitat
This snail is found at depths of about 260 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is smaller and thinner than Crosseola errata, with more delicate sculpture, and a more equal development of axials and spirals, resulting in a pitted or honeycomb effect, especially in worn shells. There are four or five spiral cords on the spire-whorls, and seven or eight on the body whorl, exclusive of the basal plait, which is less massive. The basal notch, however, is more deeply channelled.
The shell height is up to 1.65 mm, and the width is up to 1.4 mm.
