Cross Canadian Ragweed is the self-titled major-label debut album for the country music quartet Cross Canadian Ragweed. Also known as the purple album, the album's color was a tribute for Randy Ragsdale's nine-year-old sister, who had died in a car accident the previous year.[citation needed]
