Cross Ash is a village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales.

Cross Ash is located on the B4521 Ross-on-Wye to Abergavenny road, some six miles north east of Abergavenny.

Cross Ash is situated in the heart of deepest Monmouthshire [1] in a very rural location [2]. Nearby are the three castles of Gwent, White Castle , Skenfrith Castle and Grosmont Castle with their accompanying villages.

The River Monnow, forming the border with England here, passes close by.
