Cross Anchor is a town in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States.

Cross Anchor is located in extreme southern Spartanburg County in the Upstate region of South Carolina. The central location is the intersection of State Highway 49 and State Highway 56 where one traffic light exists. Nearby towns include Woodruff, SC, Clinton, SC, Union, SC, and Pauline, SC. Interstate 26 (approximately 8 miles from the town center) allows for easy access to the north, Spartanburg, SC, and the capital to the south, Columbia, SC.

The elevation is 679 feet above mean sea level (AMSL).
