From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Crookbond ('The Chela of James Bond' what he used to call himself) was (Still is - in the memories of many) the name of a character to appear in Manoj Comics, a popular comics company of India. He was given this name to resemble James Bond. But unlike James Bond, this Indian Bond was very humorous during his missions. Crookbond was one of the early popular heroes in Manoj Comics.

Like Ram-Rahim his missions were usually about saving the world from some wicked scientist or bring back secret documents from villain before they reach enemy nation. Other stories may involve detecting about a crime or chasing a criminal gang and helping people. But in most cases the scope of his mission will be less critical than Ram-Rahim.

Crookbond mostly accompanied by his cousin Motu who used to call him self Chela of Crookbond. His Fat Father was a Police inspector and his Mother was house wife who loved Crookbond like anything. Father was not very Happy with Croockbond because of his daily routine.

Crookbond looks very lean and thin. People may doubt how this thin boy will tackle critical missions. But using his agility and wisdom he will be successful in his missions. He was a scientist and good on makeups as well. He will carry some of his strange inventions with him during his mission. Most interesting would be his car (Named Super Car), which will have wonderful capabilities. He had a pet dog (Manmauji)that will accompany him in some of his missions.

Some of his Great Comic numbers are: Super Lafange, Japuka ke Shaitan, Bheekh Do Dua Lo, Tuiyan ka Khazana, Lutere Vriksh, Superboy, Kaddu Nagari, Tahelka Dimaag Ka, Akash ka jadugar, desh Ke Gaddar, Darr Master, Dhamaka Singh Ka Khamaaka.
