Crodo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 140 km northeast of Turin and about 35 km northwest of Verbania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,487 and an area of 61.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Crodo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Alpiano, Rencio, Molinetto, Salecchio (o Bagni), Cravegna, Vegno, Emo, Mozzio, Viceno, Foppiano, Quategno, Braccio, and Maglioggio.
Crodo borders the following municipalities: Baceno, Crevoladossola, Montecrestese, Premia, Varzo.
