From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Crocodilefish is the common name given to some members of the family Platycephalidae:
- It is the Fishbase recognised name for Cymbacephalus beauforti, the De Beaufort's flathead, a fish occurring in the western Pacific.[1]
- The Indian Ocean species Papilloculiceps longiceps, the Tentacled flathead, is also known as the crocodilefish or the Indian Ocean crocodilefish.[2][3]
