Croatian National Resistance
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Croatian National Resistance (Croatian: Hrvatski narodni otpor, HNO) was a Croatian emigrant political organization which sought to establish an independent Croatia during its time in Yugoslavia. It was founded by former Ustasha Maks Luburić in 1955. According to Luburić, the organization's purpose was to "destroy every Yugoslavia. Destroy it with Russia and America, with communists and neocommunists, destroy it with everyone who destroys it. Destroy it with a dialogue of words and dynamite, but destroy it not matter what, because if any country had no right to exist, it is the one and only Yugoslavia".[1]
The organization published its own magazine, Drina.[2] It existed until Croatian independence in 1991.
