The Croatia men's national water polo team has played since Croatia's independence in 1991 and is controlled by the Croatian Water Polo Federation.
Croatia won silver at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. The team also won silvers at the 1999 and 2003 European Water Polo Championship.
In 2007, Croatia won the World Water Polo Championship in Melbourne for the first time.
