[edit] Architecture
It was built in conjunction with Bogue Sound Elementary School on a 90-acre plot of land, overlooking Bogue Sound. Boney Architects constructed the building in 1997 for about $14 million, at a cost of about $18 thousand per student.[2] It was designed for 800 students, and the student population has since fluctuated around that number.
The school has also received a bond of $ 3,320,898 and plans to construct a 560 seat auditorium in the near future.
