[edit] Extraneous links
Intgr removed the Associated Locksmiths of America link from the Certified Registered Locksmith line, calling the link "irrelevant". I undid his change, possibly misunderstanding him at the time. I believed he meant that the page did not exist. (It's a recently created page.) I believe now that he just prefers to keep the 'CRL' page links limited to ones that go directly to a page that defines the appropriate term (i.e., Certified Registered Locksmith). Perhaps that is, in fact, a desirable trait in a disambiguation page. -- Jeremy Reeder, CJS, CPS 02:37, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, see Manual of Style on disambiguation pages. -- intgr 13:41, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for that link to the manual. It does discourage the inclusion of "extraneous links":
"Each bulleted entry should, in almost every case, have exactly one navigable (blue) link. Including more than one link can confuse the reader...."
I will alter the page accordingly. -- Jeremy Reeder, CJS, CPS 06:39, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
