[edit] Megaduel
A tag has been placed on Megaduel, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and put a note on Talk:Megaduel. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. McGeddon 09:44, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
As my previous comment says, your article was nominated for deletion because it failed to assert the notability of its subject. Please take a few moments to read the notability guidelines for websites, and if you're going to recreate the article in the future, make sure that it cites a couple of strong, reliable sources (such as gaming-magazine articles or academic papers). Let me know if you have any more questions. --McGeddon 18:44, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
As I say, the article just needs to cite reliable sources, such as gaming magazines or academic papers. It doesn't matter if it has more users or levels or monsters than existing game articles (see WP:BIGNUMBER) - all that matters are it having enough sources to show that the game is of encyclopaedic significance.
If its users recreate the article and it still doesn't have sources, it will be deleted again. Please take a moment to read WP:WEB, to understand what criteria a web game has to meet to merit its own Wikipedia article. --McGeddon 08:49, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
