[edit] United States
The page United States of America is already a redirect to United States; merging doesn't make sense. The problem with moving US of A to US is that thousands of articles already link to US and moving it will screw up all those links. NawlinWiki 11:49, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sponge
I reverted your move of the Sponge page back to its original location. The reason for this is that Wikipedia policy states that the more common name should be used over and against a more official name, as long as it's reasonably precise (See WP:NC(CN)). In addition, such a move should at least be up for discussion for a little while before such a drastic change is effected. Finally, the move was not done properly (by using the move tab), and so did not move the history and discussion to the new location. Feel free to leave a response here or on my talk page if you have any questions or comments. Cerealkiller13 19:31, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- Why not call it Sea Sponge then? That is definitly a more common name than just Sponge.Criptofcorbin 22:15, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- I disagree, but if you think so, you're more than welcome to put it up for a vote. Oh, and good call adding the domain names to the phyla pages. Cerealkiller13 05:37, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, I just saw that you suggested just such a move. You might want to put something on Sponge's talk page, informing people of exactly what you are proposing. With only the template up, people might get the impression that you are suggesting a merging of the content of the two pages, which doesn't make any sense, seeing as Sea Sponge is simply a redirect. So you might want to tell people that you are suggesting the article be moved to Sea Sponge and a short defense of your proposal. Cerealkiller13 05:48, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Irwin edit
Sorry, I was trying to revert edits by Orbi, not you. Some people already beat me to it, but I didn't know. Sorry that I accidentally removed your edit. Jam01 09:06, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] nothing important
So here's a little story for you. You probably know that I've been editing the Congress pages and you correctly reverted my edit about Peter DeFazio. And I kept thinking to myself that I could have sworn they call him Pete. Then I figured out why- I'm from Pittsburgh and that's the name of the Allegheny County Sheriff- Pete DeFazio. Yeah, good job, me. I don't know if you'll think that's interesting or not, but I just wanted to bring it up anyway. VitaleBaby 01:00, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Greetings! 2 sources for your question:
1. CSPAN. Watching the inagruation of the House and Senate it said on Capital News he wouldn't challenge Smith for the spot.
2. Google News "2008 Senate election" You'll see. I'll add a source now.

Agreed; unless it can be improved to at least Start-class, it should be deleted or merged. CrazyC83 01:29, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
