As far as I can see, you're not blocked -- Tawker 23:39, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
I guess it´s an IP block?
It´s by freakofnurture or something like that?
Message is:
Your user name or IP address has been blocked from editing. You were blocked by Freakofnurture for the following reason (see our blocking policy): " This IP address has been blocked because it is believed to be an open proxy or zombie computer. To prevent abuse, editing from these proxies is currently prohibited. For more information about open proxies and what you can do, please see the WikiProject on open proxies. "
Your IP address is 200.122.153.6.
I can edit for a while and then sudenly I get this block: it has happened before but I wasn´t registered so I did register.--Crio de la Paz 00:07, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- Since you're obviously not blocked, as you've been editing, I've cancelled your unblock request. Chick Bowen 05:01, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
I guess they're open proxy IP blocks: I'll investigate more on this subject!!!--Crio de la Paz 00:07, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- The IP 200.122.153.6 was used by the squidward vandal. This means that it is either an open proxy or a zombie computer. Since your IP is clearly dynamic, it seems likely that someone who uses your ISP has a compromised computer which the vandal hacked. If you're interested in working on this, the best thing would be to report these timestamps to your ISP, and they should be able to tell whose computer is the zombie:

- I don't know too much about this, though--you can ask at Wikipedia talk:Long term abuse/Squidward for more information, or ask User:Lightdarkness. By the way, you should get into the habit of signing your comments with four tildes like so: ~~~~. This produces a signature like mine. There's also some good info at the links from the {{welcome}} template. Chick Bowen 23:57, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
As soon I can I will investigate more and try to find out who to contact with my ISP. Here in Costa Rica ISP's are a state monopoly (believe it or not) of the nationalized telephony company (ICE) and it's "telematics" company (RACSA). They've got also contracts with local cable TV providers foor cable modem (I use these at home and at work and also a DSL by the ICE). Sometimes it's a hassle to get the to the right people (I'm still having an issue unresolved regarding reverse DNS or ptr records assigned to my public IP's at work!). I'll see what I can do to this respect. Thanks! --Crio de la Paz 00:07, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sounds good. Lacnic says the contact is Luis Kopper (kopper@RACSA.CO.CR), but that's not always reliable. By the way, in all this fuss I never got the chance to say: welcome to Wikipedia, and let me know if I can help with anything. Chick Bowen 00:39, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
