Talk:Cristal Marie
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm a newcomer in terms of editing, as you can see this is my first project. I've been editing it non-stop since it was uploaded and the only real problem I've found is that the major source of information is in spanish and at the time has no english translation. How could I make it verifiable or what other methods could I apply to make sure the article I've included on Cristal Marie has for the time being those references which are necessary? I've asked the website owners of cristalmarie.com and the production team for help concerning this article and they've agreed to post directly from the website a new online blog that will log every single press article with an official english translation. Would this be enough?
All suggestions are welcome. I hope that having the ~blp tag doesn't place this biography on the road to deletion automatically. Could somebody inform me if the ~blp tag means it's already going to be deleted or if it's a notice from which I can keep improving the article without the threat of a time limit? Or does the blp tag inform the bots in a way that establishes a time limit?
The sources that would be then tagged on the article would come mostly from the most important major newspapers of Dominican Republic: Listin Diario, Diario Libre, Hoy, etc. I don't know if wikipedia acknowledges these as verifiable sources, since I don't know how they verify foreign newspaper credibility.
Because this is the biography of a live person and is in no way containing anything libellous, according to the guidelines I've read articles that come from the living person themselves is considered a verifiable and accurate source. Or am I confused on the subject?
Well, suggestions please :)
Some of the references cited in the article Cristal Marie have no english quality equivalent at this moment. The moment english equivalents are found, the articles stated in the article shall be replaced.
[edit] SOLVED
Thanks for the help! For now I'll keep looking around to see if I can keep finding better sources but the ones cited here without english equivalents or from an english language press or citation are the only ones available. I am looking for other articles to make sure that at least the ones in spanish come from the major newspapers and have contacted most sources to ensure they give me access to those articles. - I removed the help template. I see you have posted one on your talk page, as that is where Template:Help is supposed to go. QAE 04:05, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
