[edit] New name suggestion

Is there any opposition to this article being renamed Crimean Campaign, which is how it is referred to by von Manstein--mrg3105mrg3105 If you're not taking any flack, you're not over the target. 02:05, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Start and end dates

There seems to be some confusion as to the start and end dates for this German campaign. Although the official start seems to be 26 September, the Soviet sources say they were already fighting in Crimea in late August though this may mean on approaches to Perikop. However, the end date completely eludes me because of the Kerch operation that several writers I looked at launch into. Help would be appreciated--mrg3105 (comms) ♠♣ 00:39, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
