I'm proposing that List of godfathers be merged here. Most of the articles on that list don't use the term "Godfather" and therefore it is unsourced/not verifiable that these individuals were even called "godfathers". Furthermore, that is a slang, non-encyclopedic term, and most of the individuals are already on this list. However, we may want to consider preserving the subdivision by eras and transfer that to this article.-Andrew c [talk] 13:42, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
