[edit] Plot summary
In this episode, Detectives Goren and Eames the case of a woman found raped and slain at her apartment.
As Goren and Eames close in, they focus their search on the victim's son, a recently paroled after serving 15 years for murder. But the detectives expand the search beyond the scope of the suspected crime when evidence of another crime emerges. Then, they meet the lead detective who investigated this earlier case, which involved three teenagers and the same type of circumstances present in the instant case. They begin to believe the two incidents could be linked.
After further investigation, Goren suspect the man might have forced a confession from the young men, who were jailed for revealing a sophisticated cover-up to rush other cases to closure.
