[edit] Plot summary

In this episode, Detectives Goren and Eames seek out the person responsible for the deaths of several homeless men.

During the investigation, Goren and Eames discover that the bodies found were sold to medical laboratories. Then, the detectives descend into abandoned subway tunnels, where they encounter its tormented inhabitants, until they discover all of the victims were newly registered for credit cards that were maxed out after their deaths.

As they probe further and deeper into the fraud, the investigators find a link to a suspicious middle-aged woman in the early stages of dementia and her boyfriend, an auto parts salesman, who is willing to commit murder to demonstrate his unconditional devotion for her.
