Critical Metrics is a B2B (business-to-business) entertainment media recommendation and discovery service, offering the aggregated opinions of thousands of professional reviewers from around the world, in the form of editorial picks, celebrity reviews, best-ever lists, industry awards and notably positive reviews from periodicals, blogs, radio and other electronic and print sources.
Critical Metrics discovers highly recommended media by mining the sentiments of avid, articulate consumers – (professional service journalists, editors, critics, and artists) – and aggregates their most enthusiastic, most explicit recommendations in one place.
With a methodology based in the fields of bibliometrics and sentiment analysis, Critical Metrics quantifies these positive citations and sentiments into indices for media playlisting and consumption.
Selected as one of the Top 12 finalists (from a field of 120 submissions) in the 2007 Supernova/TechCrunch “Connected Innovators” competition, Critical Metrics’ syndicated database provides retailers, distributors and packagers of media (on a variety of platforms) a method for consumers to discover and make informed purchases of digital entertainment media.
