Critical Condition is the sixth episode of the fifth season of the HBO television series Sex and the City. It originally aried on August 25, 2002.

Carrie deals with her past with Aidan when she runs into Nina Katz, Aidan's ex after her, who pulls a pained face when she realises who Carrie is. Carrie worries that she really affected Aidan, and broke his heart for good - restricting his future relationships. Charlotte gets legal with Bunny in a fight for her apartment. Miranda has no one to turn to when she needs help taking care of Brady, who won't stop crying. When Samantha realises that she isn't supporting Miranda and her new baby at all, she offers to babysit whilst Miranda takes her appointment and the salon. Samantha must then deal with the baby with some off-beat methods.
