Cristiano Morgado (born August 27, 1979) in Johannesburg is a South African race car driver residing in Durban, South Africa. His racing achievements to date include winning the Rotax Max World Championship in 2004 and the European Championship the following year in the RM1 class. He was also on pole position for the 2004 Formula Ford Festival in his first year of car racing. In 2006 he achieved 4 wins on his way to the runner up spot in the British Formula 3 National Class Championship. These achievements led him to receive the honour of Springbok Colours. This year he plans to enter the new Formula Volkswagen Series to be launched in South Africa.
