Cristian Miguel Riveros (born October 16, 1982 in J.A. Saldivar) is a football player from Paraguay that plays as a midfielder. Riveros started his career in his hometown club Colón de J.A. Saldivar and then moved to other Paraguayan teams such as San Lorenzo and Tacuary before arriving on his current club (as of 2006) Libertad.
Riveros played in Paraguay's first two matches at the World Cup and played efficiently on the left wing. Riveros continued his good form through to club level, where he has been a team player for his club Libertad. He picked up his first international goal for Paraguay in a 3-2 defeat to Chile.
He was also called up to play in the two friendly matches against Colombia and Mexico.
He played for Paraguay in Copa América 2007
On July 12, 2007 he signed for Cruz Azul[1]
