Cristian Alexandru Daminuţă (born February 15, 1990 in Timişoara) is a Romanian football player, currently under contract at FCU Politehnica Timişoara. He was formed at CS Mogosoaia. He is a promising defensive midfielder, having made his debut in the Divizia A 2005/2006 season, against arch-rivals Dinamo Bucharest. He is widely regarded as the leader of his generation, by both staff and media.[1] Daminuta is a Romanian U18 international. In 2008 he was transfered to FC Internazionale di Milano, the current Italian Serie A champions.
