Crispell Middle School is the oldest building in the Pine Bush Central School District. It is located along NY 302 near the center of Pine Bush.

It was erected in 1941, and became Pine Bush's only school. It originally taught grades 1-12. After Pine Bush High School was built in 1961, Chrispell became the Middle School. It has been renovated numerous times. The original part of the school has 12-foot (4 m) ceilings, while the additions have 10-foot (3 m) ceilings. It currently has around 900 students. It and Circleville Middle School, several miles further south down 302, are the district's two middle schools.It now teaches 6-8. It is now really big and has 862 students.
