Crim plays as a very happy-go-lucky character, easygoing and sociable. He enjoys testing his skills against strong opponent, and is always ready to help anybody in need. He was a founder of Crimson Knights, but later he found the Knights premise did not match his personality and left the group. Even if he has left the group, he still keeps a strong link with Subaru, who he founded the Crimson Knights with.
He is the only one who knows that Subaru is handicapped until he reveals the secret to Tsukasa in episode 23. As a token of their friendship, Crim gives Subaru his phone number, and encourages her to call him whenever she feels bad, and wants to talk about it. It is suggested in various scenes that she has never used it. He is an extremely skilled fighter, as good as (if not better than) Sora.
When rumors of the Key of the Twilight start to circulate, BT, Sora and others decide to find it. However, Crim doesn't show to much interest in it because he has tried finding it long time ago when the rumour first arose but failed. Eventually, being convinced by BT, Crim joins her in the search for the Key. At the end of the series, when all the mysteries are revealed, he is of great help to Tsukasa and the others.
[edit] .hack//Games
At first Crim is seen by Kite as a memory fragment. Later in .hack//Quarantine Crim runs into Kite where the latter is waiting for Subaru. Crim tells Kite that Subaru no longer plays The World, and that he'd like to help out, but is busy in the real world. Before leaving, he lets it slip that Kite has become a celebrity in The World. Crim can later be found wandering about the Root Towns, with numerous Heavy Axeman weapons available to trade.
[edit] Unison
Crim meets with other characters from .hack//Sign and the .hack games at a bar in Carmina Gadelica. He tries to congratulate Tsukasa because of how confident and manly he seems, but is stopped by Mimiru who reminds him that Tsukasa is a girl in real life. Later, he travels to Net Slum to join a party hosted by Helba.
[edit] Offline
In real life, he is a business man, and is frequently sent off on business trips to places all around the world. His age is unknown. He and BT have met in real life.
His main hobby is playing The World, and he also likes to read books. Ryo Sakuma is one of his favorite authors and he frequently uses quotes from his books in the game.
