Consumed is a third season episode of the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
[edit] Plot summary
In the final season episode, Detectives Goren and Eames investigate a serial gunshot slaying, when three Hispanic men are gunned down on one night in different places.
At first sight, Goren and Eames suspect a hate crime involving a bad temper, off-center police officer. Later they discover that the clever culprit exploited the cop's somnambulism problem as a cover for the slayings that involve a hidden family fortune.
During the investigation, the detectives also home in on a shy woman, who lived next to the officer. They believe that she might have been motivated by revenge against her ex-husband, who for an inexplicable reason has being jailed for a long time on charges of contempt of court. Following his release, he visits his former wife as detectives surprise and confront them.
