[edit] Pete Crewdson

Hi,

I assume that you're the Peter Crewdson above; I notice that you wrote the article at any rate. I don't mean to be rude, but it looks like a biography of a reasonably ordinary person, and as such doesn't really meet the encyclopedic notability guidelines.

I've nominated it for Articles for deletion instead of speedy-deletion, which means people get the chance to discuss whether or not to delete it (please contribute at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Pete_Crewdson). However, my gut reaction is that it may be speedy deleted by someone else anyway, as a "db-bio" which doesn't assert the notability of its subject.

If it is deleted then ok. I simply put it up as reference material for the people who ask me about it. I am quite big and very well known in certain areas of interest, and as such get asked for more information on myself a lot. If it gets in the way however, then please feel free to have it deleted asap. I would like to point out as well that it was in no way a "plug" of anything, just simply a biography - I'm not a "one-man company!" :o) --crewdy 15:26, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

Oh well, it looks like Redvers (or someone else) speedy-deleted it. Fourohfour 15:57, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Major vs. Minor edits

Thank you for your contributions to the Linkin Park article. I don't mean to look a gift horse in the mouth (nor do i mean to call you a horse!), however I noticed you marked the edit as minor. While it doesn't bother me much, some editors are very particular about what is considered minor. In one guideline I recall reading (I don't have it handy though), even changing a single word in the article can most times be considered a major edit - minor edits are considered things like formatting, wiki linking and the likes. I just thought i'd give you a heads up about this! --AbsolutDan (talk) 13:30, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

Ok, no probs. Thanks for pointing it out! :o) --crewdy 14:51, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
