Something to do

I'm enjoying our draughts game on here, but it's going a bit slowly, and that's not helped by me not being on here a lot. I just don't know what to do to have fun. What can I do to have fun? Manofthemanof 07:06, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

If you look at my user page, it has a list of things that you can do whilst you're bored. Why don't you look at some of those? If you're looking to make decent contributions to wikipedia, I'd recommend joining a wikiproject or 10. I've taken my move on draughts now anyway Cream147 Shout at me for doing wrong 07:08, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Thank you very much. I'm thinking about staying at Wikipedia for a long time now, and Cream, it's mainly down to you. I'm going to give you acknowledgement on my User Page. I really think you deserve it. (P.S. I've moved on draughts) Manofthemanof 07:13, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Aww...lol. I'm not sure I deserve it that much. I've never made great edits to wikipedia, and I knew you, so I was bound to turn you around. Cream147 Shout at me for doing wrong 07:16, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Joel Gelernter's notability

I have added a comment to Talk:Joel Gelernter regarding notability. I would appreciate any comment. —Αναρχία 10:47, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Interesting...we'll have to see what the admins say. Add a {{hangon}} template to the page for now. Cream147 Shout at me for doing wrong 10:51, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

I'm shouting at you because you are doing wrong

You have broken several policies this morning. Don't bite the newcomers, assume good faith. You've bitten me, and assumed bad faith. And that Kusma guy isn't helping! I HATE YOU ALL! Wikipedia will pay for this!

You're blocked. I'm not. That says all we need to know now. Cream147 Shout at me for doing wrong 09:51, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Sonic the Hedgehog#Critical reception

(regarding recent contribution to Sonic the Hedgehog (2006 game)#Critical reception) (diff)

Since you didn't supply an edit summary, I'm having difficulty understanding your intention. Are you contesting that minority play as Sonic, poor camera or poor controls exist in Sonic'06? Or are you contesting that they existed in prior 3D titles? Or are you questioning whether there were reoccurring complaints about them? –Gunslinger47 20:24, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Oh, sorry for not putting the edit summary. I put the tags there because I was questioning whether the complaints were there about them (I knew that they were, but there was no proof for someone who didn't). However, the source at the end has all 3 complaints in there anyway, so sorry for that. Cream147 Shout at me for doing wrong 22:09, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

No problem at all. I watch the Sonic'06 article, but only to keep the Critical Reception section from degenerating. I decided to rewrite the section myself a while ago, for some odd reason. Anyway, yours was one of the best edits to the section that I've had to deal with since then. ^_^ –Gunslinger47 03:41, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Well I'd imagine that you've had to deal with edits saying "Sonic the hedgehog 2006 is the worst game ever. Don't buy it." That kind of thing... Cream147 Shout at me for doing wrong 16:35, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Yes, people want to write a comprehensive list of everything wrong with the game. See the following loading screen and game manual book sections, for example. I don't touch those sections, for the most part. On the other hand, you have plenty of people who want to point out that the game "isn't all bad"; citing the most favourable review they can find, calling 50% an "average" score (it's not), pointing towards online polls, or relaying what "some fans" think. I might get around to rewriting the rest of the article, once Sonic'06 comes out for the PC and I get a chance to play it. –Gunslinger47 23:33, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
My word. Those sections are ridiculous! Do we really need a paragraph on loading screens? And yes, just because 50% is half-way, doesn't make it average. I would suggest more at the 60-70 mark. I wouldn't touch thoses sections, they'll just get added back, but they are clearly POV. Cream147 Shout at me for doing wrong 19:01, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
You seem to have missed my link. Here it is again: User:Gunslinger47#Average game rankings. The "average" score is 74.24%. –Gunslinger47 21:46, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Ah yes. Sorry about that. So it's even more than that! I fully encourage a rewrite of that section once you've got the game. I would recommend a rewrite now, but you'll have a lot more to back it up with if you have the game yourself. Cream147 Shout at me for doing wrong 14:38, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi!

Hi! I am Pendo 4! I just droped by to welcome you. Oh! And r u a girl?Pendo 4 21:07, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

Hey. Nice to meet you. I am not a girl (don't know whether that will dissappoint you or not). I'm guessing you're a girl though, judging by your writing. Cream147 Shout at me for doing wrong 21:16, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

What??? I am a boy!!1 I thought u were a girl because of your username.Pendo 4 17:09, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

If you want to have some fun, try to join an online game with an androgynous name like "Jacky". When people ask, refuse to tell them your gender. You'd be surprised how confused and upset this can make some people. I played under the "Jacky" handle for some time, then snapped and took a vow of gender silence after the thousandths time someone nonchalantly typed "ASL?" in my presence. I decided to switch over to this handle later because sexual harassment by 12-year-olds is amusing for only so long. –Gunslinger47 18:48, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Haha. I always ignore ASL anyway, or else put some weird answers in (between 0 and 100/a birl/planet Earth). I don't understand why people care that much anyway. Cream147 Shout at me for doing wrong 19:28, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Birinci Lig 2005-06

An editor has nominated Birinci Lig 2005-06, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Birinci Lig 2005-06 and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it.
