Good day, I'm Joe Hodgson. I've been contributing to Wikipedia since Summer 2004. I used to be a bit of a scallywag on wikipedia, but now I contribute in a much more refined, if sometimes argumentative, manner.
I'm from Clayton in Bradford in Yorkshire, which is aces. I'm currently working as a support assistant at a special school and living at home.
I'm 5 foot and 10 inches tall (Back Off Brussels) and I have a broken nose.
I went to St. Bede's Catholic Grammar School [1] in Heaton, Bradford, which AMAZINGLY was once attended by members of long-since forgotten glam rock wank-shafts and poor man's Slade, Smokie. Can you believe that? I can.
I've created lots of articles. The first one I did was the double act which is an ongoing struggle that I return to from time to time, trying to explain to people just why Mork and Mindy were not a double act. The page I'm most proud of is Noel Gallagher, which was largely a solo effort. Given that it's the most comprehensive internet article on the subject, I consider myself the leading internet authority on Noel Gallagher, though I only do so in the hope I'll get a free Blue Peter badge and won't have to pay those extortionate museum prices.
It is a fool who looks upon the skills of a wise man and calls it luck - Ernie Ladd
I probably like you.

Mummy, Mummy, Look what I've made. Pages I have created (or might as well have).

This is the "Outspoken Barnstar", and I can not think of anybody who deserves it more than the Mighty Crestville. Enjoy.--

The Barnstar of Good Humor |
I present this Barnstar to an editor who never fails to make me laugh my socks off. andreasegde 18:16, 6 October 2006 (UTC) |
This
barnstar has been bestowed on
User:Crestville for his splendid edits to
Jealous Guy, turning it from a stub piece to a beautifully introspective, fully fleshed out article. Kudos!

The Surreal Barnstar |
I award this Barnstar to the Mighty Crestville for the most surreal Nom de Plume I have ever encountered, namely: "A 19th Century British Citizen, who may or may not be Jack The Ripper, concerned about the death of Charles Gordon in Kahtoumb at the hands of the Mad Mahdi." "Stray Cannon Sorts Out Dispute Shock" - User:LessHeard vanU - not an award but a personal achievement and a headline I'm quite proud of (also it makes me sound cool)
I love life...Yeah, I'm sad, but at the same time, I'm really happy that something could make me feel that sad. It's like...It makes me feel alive, you know. It makes me feel human. The only way I could feel this sad now is if I felt something really good before. So I have to take the bad with the good. So I guess what I'm feeling is like a beautiful sadness.
